Job summary

Modigent is seeking an entry-level Helper - Start Up & Warranty to support experienced refrigerant technicians on commercial projects. You will assist with material handling, setup, and basic tasks while learning refrigerant system fundamentals under supervision.

This role emphasizes safety, organization, and readiness, offering on-the-job training and opportunities across nationwide operating companies within the Modigent family.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training in refrigerant systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on uneven terrain or confined spaces.
• Prior construction, labor, or mechanical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general job site cleanup and organization for a safe, efficient workspace.
• Assist technicians with material handling, staging and movement of piping, fittings, valves, and equipment.
• Support basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and preparing tubing under direct supervision.
• Help with tool organization and equipment readiness.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of materials as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation as directed.
• Learn refrigerant system practices, safety protocols, and EPA handling basics.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
