Job summary

Falcon Farms Inc. in Florida is seeking an Area - Operations/HR professional to support the facility manager across payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, and HR data integrity. The role is on-site and reports to the Facility Manager.

You will audit time, prepare reports, manage pre-hire paperwork, and maintain personnel records in Unify HRIS while coordinating recruitment, training, and safety processes with operations staff.

Qualifications

• Professional in Human Resources Management or related fields.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and overtime, as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of basic Federal/State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Audit time and invoices for contingent workers and ensure time cards match.
• Prepare Time Detail Reports and missing punches reports.
• Manage pre-hire paperwork and new hire onboarding procedures.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, and safety-related initiatives.

Mission

Provide support to the facility manager in human resource management in accordance with the legal framework and corporate guidelines, in order to attract, motivate, and retain competent talent according to organizational needs, while promoting the company's culture within a healthy and productive work environment.

Payroll & Timekeeping:

• Audits time and invoices for contingent workers to ensure they match the time cards
• Prepare Time Detail Reports
• Run the missing punches report and follow up. Collect and enter all missing time before the end of day
• Creates and generates reports for HR and Operations.

Pre-Hire & On-boarding:

• Distribute pre-hire paperwork, collects new hire information, make sure the forms are completed and documents turned in, roster updates
• Conducts new hire orientation on clock-in and out procedures
• Educates new hires on use of timekeeping and self-service tools

Employee Life Cycle and HRIS:

• Ensures data integrity in HRIS (Unify) and other people related systems
• Assist HR manager with maintenance of employee personnel records

Administrative:

• Time & Attendance
• Receives Absence requests for processing
• All other projects and responsibilities as assigned
• Collaborate with the follow up on missing or pending paperwork.

Planning

• Plan the recruitment of personnel according to the facility's needs.
• Organize and implement the company's welfare plans.

Coordination, Execution

• Manage the recruitment of personnel for the area of impact.
• Review and control the hours registered by employees in the company's software.
• Ensure the weekly reports of hours worked by employees are sent.
• Coordinate the recruitment of direct and agency personnel, ensuring that the required documentation is received before hiring and complies with legal requirements.
• Execute training and development plans, supporting the teams in the area of impact.
• Participate in the monthly safety committee meetings.

Assurance (KPI of the position)

• Ensure the fulfillment of the management indicators established for the current year in the position.
• Ensure compliance with the internal policies described in the employee handbook.
• Ensure the safety manual is implemented in the facility.

Basic Qualifications

• Professional in Human Resources Management and/or related fields.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook as well as other software.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and overtime, as needed, and during busy peak season
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish
• Knowledge in Basic regulations, Federal and/or State Law.
