Job summary

Pratt Industries seeks an entry-level HR Generalist to support the Beloit, Wisconsin Corrugator. You will work closely with the HR Manager on daily HR operations, including recruiting, payroll, records, and employee relations while ensuring compliance and safety on the manufacturing floor.

The role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing experience is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in HR, payroll, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in manufacturing HR preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Acquisition from posting jobs to onboarding and exits.
• Maintain records including I-9s and personnel files; assist attendance tracking and audits.
• Administer timekeeping and biweekly payroll processing with guidance.
• Assist with employee relations investigations and promote a positive culture.
• Assist with administration of benefits (medical, dental, vision, leave programs).
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and promote workplace safety.
