Job summary

Life Opportunities Unlimited (LOU) in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking an entry level Human Resources Coordinator specializing in recruiting and onboarding to support our developmental disability programs.

You will independently manage recruiting steps, maintain HR records, and coordinate interviews, with opportunities to grow through training and company events. The role offers a competitive salary of $50,000 to $55,000 and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required or 3+ years of professional experience.
• Successful administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with complex calendar management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct recruiting & onboarding processes, per company procedures and Federal/State credentialing regulations.
• Accurately maintain HR records to ensure compliance.
• Attend career fairs and recruitment events while positively representing LOU.
• Monitor and maintain active job postings.
• Schedule and conduct interviews.
• Coordinate completion of all pre-joining requirements.
• Create & maintain personnel files during employee probationary period.
• Complete ad hoc projects as necessary.
• Report to Associate Director of Human Resources.
• Attend all company events and organization-provided training sessions as directed.
