What you can expect:

Numotion is seeking a Home Access Laborer to join our growing team. The Home Access Laborer is responsible for completing construction/installation with and without subcontractors, and developing construction services.

Responsibilities:

Construction:

1. General Remodeling construction tasks such as decks, landing, doorway widening, grab bar installation and technical installation such as stair glide, patient lifts, power door openers or tub modifications.
2. Review plans and specs and determine feasibility, code compliance, labor, and equipment requirements.
3. Ensure timely job starts and completion. Plan material purchases, labor requirements, coordinate with staff as needed and follow TRR documentation procedures.
4. Ensure skills appropriate, job prep, tools and materials are available.
5. Ensure TRR standards and all applicable codes/regulations are followed on job site.

Administrative/Customer Service for Remodeling/Installation:

1. Assist with sub-contractors.
2. Monitor and maintain tools, storage, maintenance, and re-supply while coordinating with other staff.
3. Receive and sort products on loading dock as needed.
4. Record service and follow up for clients in a timely manner and coordinate with other staff.
5. Observe HIPAA, Safety, Code Compliance at all times.

What you need to succeed:

1. Ability to develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Enjoy a challenge and able to juggle several responsibilities at once – time management is vital.
3. Highly self-motivated as you’ll work independently and receive minimal supervision throughout the day.
4. Must be able to keep multiple jobs organized and supervise others.
5. Must be able to plan materials needed, including scaled drawings and written specifications.
6. Must understand labor rates, and labor requirements for construction work, and standard work practices along with material pricing and availability.
7. Must understand code and permit regulations.
8. Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle and maintain personal insurance. Must be able to drive, navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areas.
9. Must have basic knowledge of general light construction such as blocking, framing, sheetrock, paint, tile, handyman level work such as replacing a shower head or wax ring on a toilet.
10. Must be able to safely participate in general light construction activity: occasionally carry/lift items up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, kneel, stand, walk, crawl per job demands.

Certifications Optional:

1. City of Omaha Class D Contractor's license, City of Bellevue License, City of Council Bluffs IA License.
2. 30 hour OSHA training.
3. Lead Based Paint Certification.
4. Other certifications needed for position of construction.
