Job Summary
This position requires a construction-minded individual who can travel to sports venues across the country to install large diameter poles, hang cables and netting, and perform other installation tasks. You will work on a team of dedicated sports construction technicians that are self-motivated and eager to learn, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, interested in developing leadership skills, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proper use of hand and power tools
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for 8 hours
• Work in all weather conditions
• Arrive on time
• Read tape measures and use levels
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
• Perform maintenance on equipment
• Learn to read blueprints and understand concrete terminology
• Learn safe trailer loading procedures
• Maintain tools and vehicles
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (preferred)
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Travel 75% of the time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work M-F, with weekends and overtime as needed
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to learn heavy equipment operation
