Job summary

Circular Services is seeking an entry-level Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our 1st shift maintenance team in Southington, CT. You will assist the lead mechanic with maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers, with tasks assigned and supervised by the lead mechanic.

The role offers a Full-time position on 2PM-10PM shift, with pay ranging from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Safety-minded with understanding of proper tool use.
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work well and communicate with others.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead mechanic with routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy trucks and trailers.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and greasing fittings.
• Help with tire changes, brake inspections, and other preventative maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
