A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic for our Southington, CT fleet maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Class 8 trucks with a toolkit of heavy-duty skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Own a complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational/Technical training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles.
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.
