Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, 3rd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Southington, CT. The role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of Class 8 trucks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair is required.
• Vocational or technical training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
