Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in Meriden, CT is seeking an experienced heavy-duty vehicle mechanic. You will perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks/equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles.
• Perform annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, and assist other mechanics on assigned tasks
• Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems
• Accurately completing all task related paperwork
• Must be able to follow directions and perform other duties as assigned
