Job summary

S&B USA Construction, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Scheduler I to assist planning and maintenance of CPM schedules for heavy civil projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will work under supervision to build bid schedules, baselines, and reports using Oracle Primavera P6.

This entry-level role includes hands-on training, exposure to scheduling standards, and opportunities to advance to a Project Scheduler as proficiency grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent heavy civil field experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction (field engineering, scheduling support) or equivalent internship/co-op on bridges, highways, rail, or transit.
• Field knowledge of heavy civil construction and basic understanding of sequencing in the field.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents, plans, and specs and summarize schedule-related requirements and constraints.
• Develop CPM bid schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, including WBS, calendars, logic, and durations.
• Assist in developing baseline schedules with project team and translate execution plan into a resource-realistic schedule.
• Prepare schedule updates, two-to-four-week look-aheads, and monthly submittals with narratives and changes.
• Support risk assessments, time impact analyses, and change management documentation.
