Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry‑level store leadership candidate in Green Bay, WI. You will help guide operations, coach teammates, and ensure a high level of customer service and store standards. This role reports to the Grocery Supervisor and offers growth through Meijer development programs.

You will engage customers, supervise daily tasks, train new teammates, and support scheduling, inventory, and safety compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and guide teammates to hit goals.
• Experience in retail or other customer service environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Assist with training new team members and cross-training talent.
• Collaborate with leadership on department scheduling to boost engagement and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Guide team on food safety standards and safe operations.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product displays when applicable.
• Create an environment that supports Meijer culture, DEI, and inclusion.
• Operate registers and handle cash when needed; use powered equipment as applicable.
