GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. seeks an entry‑level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Norwood or Amesbury offices. We invite graduates of May 2027 with Civil or Geotechnical degrees to begin a career with our employee‑owned firm.

You will assist on diverse infrastructure and underground projects under experienced professionals. Responsibilities include field testing, data evaluation, and reporting, with opportunities for mentorship, training, and occasional field work.

Qualifications

• Expected May 2027 graduation with Civil or Geotechnical focus.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) a plus.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented with good analytical capability.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute subsurface exploration and in-situ tests for foundations.
• Perform field construction observation during shallow/deep foundation work.
• Evaluate field data and perform slope/bearing/settlement analyses.
• Prepare field summaries, drafts, specs and technical documents.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and team members.
• Support One Company approach and work safely per instructions.
