The Claims Representative role involves investigating and adjusting general, property, and auto liability claims for a major client, with moderate exposure and opportunities to grow in a collaborative, training-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 1–3 years of insurance claims experience, plus proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, conferencing tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of insurance claims experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of public entity liability claims.
• At least two years using Windows and Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Two years using video conferencing (Teams/Zoom) with group meetings.
• Two years using claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust general, property damage and automobile liability claims for a large client.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and medical professionals to gather information.
• Prepare timely reports and maintain case files in the claims system.
• Reconcile reserves and recommend claim actions within authority.
• Comply with claims handling best practices and regulatory requirements.
