Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a clerical operations support associate to assist assigned Claims Specialist(s) with daily tasks and documentation. The role focuses on accurate file preparation, billing support, and timely communication with providers and claimants.

You will handle diary-based payments, issue notices, and coordinate with clinicians and employers to keep cases moving smoothly. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new claims files.
• Calculate TTD, Wage Loss, VRMA and PD benefits.
• Issue compensation payments on diary schedule.
• Issue Benefit Notices to appropriate parties.
• Doctor status calls and Employee/Employer contact calls.
• Employer contact calls to confirm light duty or modified work.
• Assist Claims Specialists with clerical tasks and documentation.
• Prepare litigation documents (C&R, Stipulations, Answers).
• Handle provider inquiries about unpaid bills and related questions.
• Review mail and process direct pay bills (e.g., mileage).
