RECONN is seeking entry-level, daytime/full-time personnel to support our utility operations. Training is provided and paid while you learn to read maps, locate leaks, and report findings with a strong emphasis on safety and service.

The role involves outdoor work in varying weather, possible weekend shifts, and overtime. A valid driver’s license is required. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret gas company maps and records.
• Detect, locate, and evaluate leaks using prescribed procedures.
• Classify leaks in accordance with company/contractual guidelines and procedures.
• Immediately report leaks to gas company under contract.
• Complete daily workload accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Perform locates with safety in mind.
• Complete required paperwork and sketches.
• Keep lines of communication open with Management.
• Help in other areas if needed.
• Follow company guidelines set forth in employee manual.
• Be willing to perform duties in new areas when asked.
• Respect and care for company issued equipment.

What We Need from You (Our Requirements)

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Previous outdoor experience is a plus
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected
• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology
• Ability to use simple hand tools
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
• Customer service experience is a plus
