Job summary

Surview Field Services is hiring an Entry Level - Leak Survey Technician in Asheville, NC. The role involves fieldwork to detect gas leaks, use GIS tools, and prepare reports. Training will be provided, and a company vehicle is provided for field operations.

No prior natural gas experience is required; growth opportunities exist in a safety-focused environment with travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field is helpful but not required.
• Experience in leak surveys, construction, or customer interaction is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license; company vehicle provided for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Detect gas leaks and report findings; training provided.
• Learn to use GIS tools to visualize data and create maps.
• Support clients with FlowGIS and Esri software.
• Compile daily progress into clear reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team and work independently as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS tools.
