Job summary

Storti Quality Services in Apex, NC, is looking for an Entry Level Leak Survey Technician. This role focuses on on-site fieldwork, detecting gas leaks, and using GIS tools for data visualization. Training is provided, and no prior gas experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is needed, and a company vehicle will be provided for field operations. You will work with FlowGIS and Esri software, translate findings into reports, and collaborate with teams while traveling to various locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field is helpful but not required.
• Experience in leak surveys, construction, or customer interaction is a plus but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license required; company vehicle provided for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Detect gas leaks and report findings to improve community safety.
• Learn and use GIS tools to create meaningful visualizations from field data.
• Support clients with FlowGIS and Esri software to analyze and map results.
• Compile daily progress into clear reports for stakeholders.
• Adapt to field conditions; willingness to learn new skills.
