Job summary

Surview Field Services in Asheville, NC is seeking an entry level Leak Survey Technician to support gas leak detection, field inspections, and data reporting. This on-site, full-time role includes a company vehicle and comprehensive training.

You will work with GIS tools, learn FlowGIS and Esri software, compile clear daily reports, and travel to multiple sites across the United States. No prior gas experience required; a proactive learner with attention to detail is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography or GIS is helpful but not required.
• Practical GIS and data reporting skills preferred.
• Willingness to learn and train in gas leak surveys.

Responsibilities

• Detect and report gas leaks; training will be provided.
• Master GIS tools to visualize data from fieldwork.
• Support clients using FlowGIS and Esri software.
• Compile clear daily reports of progress for stakeholders.
• Travel to multiple sites across the United States; strong communication needed.
