Job summary

Safeway in Monument, CO seeks a Front-End Team Member to ensure smooth checkout experiences, process transactions, and assist customers throughout shifts. The role supports bagging, cart retrieval, and maintaining an organized front-end area.

You will handle cash and digital payments, communicate clearly, and adapt to varying tasks in a fast-paced store environment. Training, weekly wages, and flexible schedules are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle checkout transactions and assist customers during checkout.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain the checkout area.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions.
• Balance registers and perform basic cash handling tasks.
