Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. operates Safeway stores and seeks a Front-End Team Member in Colorado. You will ensure a smooth checkout experience, help customers complete purchases, and keep the front end organized and clean throughout shifts.

The role involves handling transactions, restocking, bagging, and assisting with various front-end duties in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on friendly service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions at the checkout accurately and efficiently.
• Bag groceries and assist customers as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain the checkout area’s cleanliness.
• Assist with cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts.
