Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience and friendly service. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and keep the front-end area organized and efficient.

Role requires basic math, effective communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided upon hire to prepare you for daily responsibilities and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at checkout with a friendly demeanor.
• Process transactions accurately using cash, card, or digital payment methods.
• Bag groceries and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Handle cash, provide correct change, and balance receipts as needed.
• Restock and retrieve carts; assist with front-end upkeep.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures throughout shifts.
• Support front-end operations and adapt to changing customer flow.
