Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience and be the final step before customers leave with a purchase
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers as needed
• Keep the front-end area organized, clean, and functioning throughout the shift
• Handle transactions and various payment methods accurately
• Identify pricing or service questions and resolve them promptly
