Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, handle payments, bag groceries, and help customers while keeping the checkout area tidy and efficient.

Work involves standing for extended periods, daily customer interactions, and a flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends. Company training will be provided to start successfully.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements.
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items and process transactions accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers at the checkout area.
• Answer questions and help customers complete purchases.
• Maintain clean and organized front-end area throughout the shift.
• Restock supplies and retrieve carts as needed.
