Job summary

Blue Origin seeks early career engineers for Direct Hire or New Graduate Rotation. You’ll gain hands-on experience across New Glenn, Blue Engines, Lunar Permanence, and other units, with three four‑month rotations and mentorship to map your career path.

Roles require a recently earned BS/MS in mechanical, aerospace, or related fields, with strong propulsion, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural basics, plus a drive to innovate safely in spaceflight.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, mechatronics or related field.
  • Degree earned within the last year; eligible to start Fall 2027.
  • Strong fundamentals in propulsion, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis.
  • Internship/co‑op or hands‑on experience showing technical skills and leadership.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain inclusive culture.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams on rapid development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze and test fluid components and systems including propulsion and mechanical systems.
  • Integrate materials and processes; engage in manufacturing, systems test, operations and systems engineering.
  • Duties subject to business unit objectives.
