Job summary

Mustang Transportation is hiring two dependable Fleet Service Technicians in Nevada Operations to keep our buses clean, fueled, and ready for service.

This entry-level position offers hands-on learning under our maintenance team with room to grow as you develop new skills. You will assist with cleaning, fueling, and basic maintenance tasks while preparing for potential backup driving duties after licensing and training.

Qualifications

• No prior fleet servicing or mechanical experience is required.
• A willingness to learn and dependable work habits are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record under company requirements.
• Current CDL with passenger endorsement preferred. If not held, able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must meet licensing, medical qualification, and company driving requirements before operating a CDL vehicle.
• Ability to perform physical work (standing, bending, reaching, cleaning, around vehicles).
• Attention to detail and pride in keeping equipment clean and ready.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate concerns promptly.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in wash/shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Wash bus interiors and exteriors, including cleaning windows and surfaces.
• Fuel buses and maintain fueling records.
• Check and top off designated fluids per procedures.
• Report leaks, damage, low fluids, and safety issues promptly.
• Complete servicing tasks and records to ensure buses are ready for service.
• Assist maintenance team with basic tasks and learn proper tool use and safety procedures.
• Cover routes as a backup driver after training and licensing requirements are met.
