Qualifications
- High school diploma and 3 years of vehicle repair and preventive maintenance experience; or 1 year as Fleet Service Worker II; or an equivalent combination.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance; tune engines, order parts and make minor repairs.
- Repair or replace tires and rims; inspect and adjust wheel assemblies.
- Wash and detail vehicles/equipment; steam clean engines and interiors.
- Assist mechanics and storekeepers by delivering equipment and verifying invoices.
- Reserve vehicles; fuel vehicles; collect usage data and schedule service.
- Under supervision, perform the full range of duties and may lead other Fleet Service Workers.
