Job summary

Fox Valley Fire is seeking an entry-level Technician I – Fire Alarm Install to join our Fire Alarm Installation team. You will assist with installing fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, learning proper installation techniques, code compliance, and safety procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

You will work under experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience wiring, cabling, and interpreting drawings, and participating

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
NICET certifications in Fire Alarm Systems strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Assist in installing fire alarm products, devices, panels, and related equipment under guidance of senior technicians.
Pull and terminate cabling, trim out devices, and perform minor conduit work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on-site.
Follow all safety procedures and industry standards.
Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
Learn to read and interpret installation drawings, diagrams, and work orders.
Support the team in troubleshooting and minor system adjustments.
Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge.
