Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Entry Level Field Testing Technician in St. Louis, MO. The role involves performing field testing and inspections of construction materials, including water/a.ir infiltration, with travel up to 25% as required. Core hours are Monday–Friday.

You'll support the Building Science Solutions team, contribute to field reports, and work under supervision, adhering to safety and QA standards. A high school diploma or GED and familiarity with power tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General construction knowledge and experience using power tools.
• Technical competency to understand test procedures, specifications, and results; mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with QA policies related to test specimens; safety practices must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, observations, and site assessments under supervision or controlled procedures.
• Operate testing equipment and conduct tests (e.g., air and water infiltration).
• Provide data assessments through reporting and prepare field reports.
• Work with drawings, specifications, and diagrams to observe site activities.
