Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Entry Level Field Testing Technician in Windham, New Hampshire to support our Building Science Solutions team. You will assist with field testing projects, building inspections, and investigations of building envelope failures, with daily travel in the New England area.

This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training, a Monday–Friday schedule with early start times, and the opportunity to grow in a hands‑on testing career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• General construction knowledge and ability to work from elevated platforms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Outlook; strong independent work ethic.
• Willingness to travel daily and lift 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist field testing projects and building inspections.
• Conduct forensic investigations of building envelope failures.
• Communicate site observations, procedures and results to the project team.
• Prepare and submit concise reports for all assigned projects.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, execution and reporting with the team.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and colleagues.
