Job summary

RF Technologies in West Virginia is seeking an Entry-Level Field Technician to provide hands-on support for low-voltage system installations. You will visit customers, assist with installation and basic service tasks, and participate in on-the-job training.

This temporary position offers comprehensive paid training, tools and equipment, and potential conversion to a long-term full-time role after 2–3 months based on performance. Moderate travel within the assigned area is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to safely lift and carry equipment up to 80 lbs.
• Comfort working on ladders and outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to travel moderately within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for product and system installations under established service standards.
• Assist with basic problem diagnosis, analysis, repair, and issue resolution for customer systems.
• Escalate complex technical issues to Field Service Technicians or Regional Service Manager.
• Maintain clear communication with customers before, during, and after service engagements.
• Accurately complete, submit, and archive required service documentation in a timely manner.
