Job summary

Industrial Air Technology is seeking an Entry Level Technical Sales Representative to support our sales efforts through a blend of outside customer engagement and technical, design-focused solutions.

This role partners with customers to translate technical requirements into actionable recommendations and drive revenue within an assigned territory. A Kansas City area candidate will travel to Nebraska weekly and occasionally overnight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering background preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience ideal, but not required.
• Willingness to travel weekly (1–2 days) with overnight travel monthly.
• Local to the Kansas City metro area with ability to travel to Nebraska territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales activities within the Nebraska territory to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Visit customers to assess technical needs, gather requirements, and document findings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support technical design needs and ensure solutions align with customer expectations.
• Present product and solution recommendations with clear, technically informed explanations.
• Create and support solution designs, proposals, and related documentation for customer review.
• Manage sales opportunities through the full lifecycle, including qualification, follow-up, and closing.
