Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Port St. Lucie is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment for commercial foodservice and laundry operations.

You will work independently in the field, with travel up to 30% and shift flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings, and weekends. This full-time role emphasizes exceptional service and customer retention, not sales, with a competitive healthcare plan and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

Basic understanding in electronics, plumbing, maintenance or mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot with root cause analysis.
Moderate knowledge of tools, data, implements and service needs.
Proficient in laptop and cell phone technology including Salesforce, Word and Excel.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Work schedule is a 5 day work week with 8 hours per day; may include 12 hour shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
Lift, lower and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
Climb a vertical ladder and stairs, and work in various temperatures.
Operate a computer keyboard to input data and use a phone.
Travel approximately 30% of the day to visit accounts in city, rural and expressway conditions.
Ensure equipment startup, alarms and signals are understood and acted upon.
