Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Tucker, GA seeks a Junior Field Service Engineer. This entry-level role supports field activities under the direction of Senior Field Service Engineers and Field Service Managers, developing skills in installation, commissioning, and startup at customer sites.

You will work with the Field Service Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams to build technical competency and field execution experience, with growth toward independent responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or field exposure preferred).
• Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical and field service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow direction, work within a team environment, and adapt in field conditions.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Field Service Engineers with installation, commissioning, and startup activities at customer sites.
• Support field modifications, system checks, and verification of equipment performance.
• Follow established field procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements during all site activities.
• Provide entry-level support for field service requests, both remotely and on-site.
• Support timely response to service calls while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Accurately document service activities, findings, and actions taken.
• Represent the Field Service Engineering team professionally during site visits.
• Progress toward independent field execution, troubleshooting, and customer support responsibilities.
• Gain exposure to cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management.
