Job summary

Artheon in New Jersey is seeking fresh civil engineering graduates to support transportation construction projects across highways, bridges, and airports. You will perform field inspections, interpret plans, oversee materials testing, and prepare reports.

The role is on-site with daily field presence; night shifts and some weekends may be required. NJDOT or Turnpike exposure is preferred; valid driver's license and willingness to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

Must have a Civil Engineering degree and ability to read plans and specs.
Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail essential.
Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections on highways, bridges, airports, and related infrastructure.
Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specs, safety and quality.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and contract documents.
Prepare daily inspection reports and project records.
Assist with Office Engineer tasks and coordinate project information.
Coordinate with Resident Engineers, PMs, contractors, and agencies.
Support materials testing and project closeout documentation.
