Job summary

Artheon seeks fresh engineering graduates to support transportation and infrastructure construction projects across highways, bridges, and airports. You will perform field inspection and office engineering duties, including interpreting construction plans, overseeing materials testing, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, strong communication skills, and the willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions; NJ project

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work outdoors in active construction environments and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on highway, bridge, airport, and transportation infrastructure construction projects.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, field documentation, and project records.
• Assist with Office Engineer responsibilities, including reviewing documentation and coordinating project information.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, project managers, contractors, and client agencies.
• Support materials testing, quality assurance, and project closeout documentation as required.
• Work on-site daily with availability for night shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
