Job summary

Artheon seeks fresh civil engineering graduates to support transportation construction projects across highways, bridges, and airports. You will perform field inspections, interpret plans, oversee materials testing, and prepare reports, with NJDOT/NJ Turnpike experience preferred.

This is an on-site role requiring daily field presence, with night shifts and occasional weekend assignments based on project needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work outdoors in active construction environments.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work nights, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections on highway, bridge, airport, and transportation projects.
Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans and safety requirements.
Read and interpret plans, drawings, specs, and contract documents.
Prepare daily inspection reports and project records.
Assist with Office Engineer tasks and coordinate project information.
Coordinate with Resident Engineers, project managers, contractors and clients.
Support materials testing, QA, and project closeout documentation.
Work on-site daily with availability for night shifts and weekends.
