Job summary

Crossland Construction Company is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to learn field operations and support project teams on construction sites. You will work closely with field personnel to understand project execution, safety practices, and documentation requirements.

The role is designed as a 1–3 year developmental path toward roles such as Craft Superintendent, Superintendent, or Project Engineer, with mandatory drug screen, physical, and background checks for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Recent construction graduates with an interest in field roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor jobsite safety.
• Study the plans and specifications to gain project understanding.
• Layout for the entire project using total station and GPS.
• Quality control including pre-pour checklists and as-built drawings.
• Gather quantities and report cost control meetings and pay applications.
• Assist in subcontractor control and scheduling.
• Document project activities including daily reports and schedules.
• Procure materials and organize on site.
• Take daily/weekly photos for documentation and sharing with leadership.
