Job summary

You will help maintain cost goals, bid day margins, and contribute to a safety-first, incident-free work environment. Responsibilities include developing work plans, interpreting plans, documenting progress, tracking quantities, and assisting with procurement and cost coding.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of engineering or construction experience.
• Microsoft Office proficient.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and reinforces company culture and leadership practices with team members, including Safety policies.
• Develops work plans and schedules for production.
• Performs laborer tasks as part of a crew (e.g., pipe, excavation, site cleanup, maintenance).
• Interprets contract plans and specifications.
• Ensures work meets requirements and production targets.
• Documents projects through diaries, photos, videos, inspections, RFIs, and logs.
• Assists in submissions, tracking, and approvals.
• May assist in negotiation, pricing, and purchasing of parts, materials, and labor.
• Tracks quantities and provides input for billing.
