Allan Myers, Inc is seeking a full-time entry level engineer to support crews and project teams in planning, scheduling, and site execution for heavy civil construction. The role emphasizes cost management, safety, and quality, with on-site work from the regional office.

You will help develop work plans, interpret plans, and document progress while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Valid driver's license and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of engineering or construction experience.
• Microsoft Office proficient; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, models and reinforces company culture and leadership practices.
• Supports crews by developing work plans and schedules for production.
• Performs laborer tasks as part of a crew (e.g., pipe, excavation, site cleanup).
• Interprets contract plans and specifications.
• Ensures work meets requirements and production targets.
• Documents projects with diary entries, photos, reports and logs.
• Develops, reviews, and processes submissions through final approval.
• May assist in negotiation, pricing, and purchasing of parts and labor.
• Tracks quantities and helps bill for work performed.
• Contributes to safety initiatives and daily hazard assessments.
