Job summary

Artheon is seeking a fresh Civil Engineering graduate to support transportation and infrastructure construction projects in Barnegat, NJ. You will perform field inspections, interpret plans, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety on-site.

We require a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. This on-site role involves outdoor work, possible night shifts, and weekends depending on project needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to work outdoors in an active construction environment.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections on highway, bridge, airport, and transportation infrastructure construction projects.
Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Prepare daily inspection reports, field documentation, and project records.
Assist with Office Engineer responsibilities, including reviewing construction documentation and coordinating project information.
Coordinate with Resident Engineers, project managers, contractors, and client agencies.
Support materials testing, quality assurance, and project closeout documentation as required.
Work on-site daily, with availability for night shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends based on project schedules.
