Job summary

Artheon is seeking fresh civil engineering graduates for on-site inspection and office engineering support on transportation projects in New Jersey. You will perform field inspections, interpret plans and specifications, review documentation, and prepare daily reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, strong communication, and a willingness to work outdoors, including nights and overtime as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on highway, bridge, airport, and transportation projects.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, safety, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and project records.
• Assist with Office Engineer duties and coordinate project information.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, project managers, contractors, and client agencies.
• Support materials testing and project closeout documentation; work on-site daily.
