DIHO Consulting USA in Kenner, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our field team. Training will be provided, and you can get certified!

This role offers hands-on training in field testing and the chance to grow into a certified technician as you gain experience. You will perform field tests on soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to verify specifications, document results, and produce timely reports.

Qualifications

• +1 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting for compressive strength).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Run Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil classification tests as applicable.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow corporate safety procedures at all times.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive at the job site on time and communicate with dispatch and onsite clients daily.
