Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Kenner, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician. Training will be provided and certification opportunities are available as you perform field tests on soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of construction or materials testing experience. Certifications such as ACI, NICET, or TxDOT are preferred, and you will join a team focused on safety, accuracy, and client communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.
• Training will be provided on site.
• ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinders).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear gauge.
• Perform Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil tests.
• Do asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed test reports and communicate results to the team.
• Maintain safety and follow company procedures at all times.
