Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Kenner, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician. The role involves hands-on field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specifications are met.

Training will be provided and certification paths (ACI, NICET, TxDOT) are preferred but not required. Qualifications include at least one year in Construction or Materials Testing.

Qualifications

• +1 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications preferred.
• Training will be provided to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinder casting)
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil classification tests
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts
• Produce timely and detailed reports
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures
• Cooperate with technical team and share information
• Build positive relationships with clients
• Arrive on site on time and communicate with dispatch and clients
