DIHO Consulting USA in Kenner, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our field team. This role performs field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring in accordance with project specifications.

Training will be provided, and opportunities for advancement exist. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of construction or materials testing experience and an interest in earning industry certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinders).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Run Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow company safety procedures at all times.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive at the job site on time and communicate with dispatch daily.
