Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field plus 2 years of related experience as mandated by Virginia statutes.
• BSW or MSW is desirable for advancement within the role.
• Possession of or eligibility for Virginia Social Worker licensure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interprets laws, policies and regulations as applied to specified areas of responsibility.
• Monitors, coordinates and administers specific programs as assigned.
• Interviews and assesses customer needs, skills, education, and support systems.
• Develops and implements service plans to ensure delivery of appropriate services.
