Job summary

Clearwater Paper Corporation in Lewiston is seeking an entry-level Utility to support Extruder and Paper Machine operations. You will learn plant processes, assist operators, and cover shifts or areas as needed to keep production flowing.

You will participate in safety programs, perform light maintenance, and help with inspections while developing a broad understanding of mill operations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry level position in the Extruder and Paper Machine areas of the Lewiston mill.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of the designated department (Extruder or Paper Machine).
• Fill in as needed due to time off vacancies.
• Assist other Operators as needed throughout the department.
• Conduct minor maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment in areas of responsibility based on preventative maintenance routes.
• Attend and apply training provided by the Company, both job and department specific.
• Hold self and others to safety standards and follow safety policies (lockout/tagout, PPE, etc.).
• Participate in safety incidents and help investigate root cause.
• Maintain a clean working environment by following procedures and housekeeping responsibilities.
