Job summary

GEM is seeking an Event Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team. No experience is required as you will be fully trained across the company’s marketing campaigns and day-to-day objectives.

You will learn and develop in customer service, communications, and reporting, attending meetings, supporting fundraising targets, and providing timely updates to management. This entry-level role offers learning and progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• A proven desire to pursue a marketing, sales or customer service career.
• No Experience necessary, but you must be coachable and eager to learn.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident communicator and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management skills with the ability to operate to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responding to specific tasks, as appropriate within your team and independently on occasion
• Acting as internal liaison between the customer and the client
• Assisting in ensuring fundraising targets are met
• Attending all meetings and workshops
• Constantly striving to improve cost-effectiveness and customer service
• Liaising with customers and ensuring that their requests are dealt with efficiently
• Producing detailed and accurate reports of donations
• Reporting weekly (or earlier as appropriate) to Managing Director on the progress of work
• Developing remarkable customer service skills to match the company's standards

Working directly with our well-known and respected client, we are looking for our next Event Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team. With no experience required, the Event Marketing Assistant will play a vital, customer-facing role in supporting the performance and success of the relevant marketing teams by ensuring the day-to-day objectives and targets are met. You will be fully trained in every corner of the company as we need you to work on our highest-profile marketing campaigns.
