Job summary

S.E.T., Inc. is a growing heavy civil contractor focused on highway, bridge, and infrastructure construction across Ohio.

We are hiring a Junior Estimator to learn the estimating process from the ground up, including takeoffs, subcontractor solicitation, and bid assembly, while supporting the Preconstruction team on active pursuits. The Junior Estimator role supports the estimating team through takeoffs and bid assembly under supervision, working with Estimators to build critical project

Qualifications

• Degree (or in progress) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of construction estimating or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; willingness to learn Bluebeam and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with digital quantity takeoffs from plans and specs.
• Support subcontractor outreach and bid tracking.
• Assemble bid documents and track opportunities.
• Learn estimating processes under a senior estimator.
